Public answer

Question people actually type: How do I fix, update, or take down an answer?

Easily, and always under your approval.

If you spot an answer in your room that's wrong, out of date, or simply not how you'd say it, you have two ways to fix it.

From the road, email your agent. Say what's wrong in plain words: "The answer about our fees still shows last year's rate," or "Take down the answer about weekend hours." The agent drafts the revision or the removal and sends it back to you. Nothing changes in the room until you reply APPROVED.

At your desk, edit the deposit. Open the file in Compa, Obsidian, or any text editor. Edit it yourself, or ask an AI assistant such as Claude Desktop to help you rewrite it. When you're happy with it, click Sync, and the approved version replaces the old one in your room. To take something down, remove it from your approved set and sync.

A good way to catch problems early is to use your own room. Ask it the questions your clients ask, and read the answers as a skeptical client would. If an answer is close but not right, fix the deposit underneath it, not just that one reply. Then ask again and see the difference.

You can also share a thread with a colleague for review. Shared threads open without an account, so a trusted reader sees exactly what a visitor would see. Ask them, "Is this how I'd say it?"

Answers go stale for ordinary reasons. Prices change, services change, and your thinking matures. Put a reminder on your calendar to skim your most-used deposits every quarter. The room is only as current as the shelf, and the shelf is always yours to change.

If a mistake matters, such as a wrong price or an outdated policy, take it down first and rewrite it second. One short email gets the wrong answer out of the room within the time it takes you to reply APPROVED, and you can deposit the careful version later.
