Here are the current prices.
One-time setup:
- Asker room setup: $500.
- Compa desktop install: $500.
Monthly, after installation, choose one of two plans:
- All-in plan, $60 a month. That's about $2 a day. It covers hosting your asker, the AI usage budget for your room and Compa, onboarding sessions with Daniel, fixes, and updates. You never see a separate AI bill.
- Own-key plan, $40 a month. It covers hosting, onboarding sessions with Daniel, fixes, and updates. You pay xAI directly for the AI tokens your room and Compa use, through an API key on your own xAI account, and you get xAI's exact usage numbers.
Billing terms from our Terms of Service:
- Monthly fees start at installation.
- We give at least 30 days' written notice of any price change.
- You can switch plans by email, effective at the start of the next month.
- You can cancel any time by email, effective at the end of the current month, with no cancellation fee.
- What you pay xAI on the own-key plan isn't a fee paid to us.
Not included: building a website or joining a syndication network. Those are separate projects with their own quotes.
How to think about the cost: most owners spend more than $2 a day of their own time answering the same questions by phone and email. The room answers those questions around the clock in your approved words, and every unanswered question becomes a deposit that saves you time later.
If you're not sure which plan suits you, start with the all-in plan. It's simpler, and you can switch by email in any month.
