Question people actually type: What is the 90-day proving period?

We suggest treating your first 90 days as a proving period: long enough to see what the room really does for your business, and short enough to stay focused.

Here's the idea. An Asker isn't a website you launch and forget. It's a loop: you approve deposits, the room answers, gaps appear, and you fill them. Loops take a few weeks to find their rhythm. Judging the room after one week is like judging a new employee on their first morning.

What a good 90 days looks like:

Days 1 to 30: build the shelf. Install Compa, open your room, and load your first deposits. Start with the questions people ask you most. Use your own room daily and fix whatever reads wrong.

Days 31 to 60: let the loop work. Share your room with clients or members. Ask them to send you the questions the room can't answer, and turn each answer into a deposit. Notice which deposits get used most.

Days 61 to 90: measure and decide. Look honestly at the results: how many questions were asked, how many went unanswered, how many calls the room shortened or replaced, and how your clients felt about it.

At day 90, we sit down together for a check. That's the natural time to revisit your decisions with real data: whether to stay invitation-only or go public, whether to switch plans, and whether to open a second room, such as a paid members' room.

We keep the numbers honest. If the room isn't earning its place, we'd rather hear it at day 90 than have you quietly stop using it. And because you can cancel in any month with no fee, the proving period is a practice, not a contract term.

If you'd like your 90 days to become a case study, tell us at the start. We'll agree in advance which numbers to track and what you're comfortable having published.
