What Daniel Comp's 2018 Video Teaches Asxer Owners About Staying the Course
About Staying the Course
On 2018-05-22, Daniel Comp published "360MEN MUGSHOTS - Kenny Rucker on Fixing Stuff" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 1, The Long Witness, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.
What the video shows
Texas machinist Kenny Rucker fixes their Airstream hitch and talks about kidney pain, insurance runarounds and his hope for a vocational school to train kids. Respect for practical trades runs through it. As SI takes on more desk work, the long witness keeps hands-on work in view.
Save your lesson is to open your eyes.
The vocational job market in America—I mean, you can look at it right now.

The asxer angle
An asxer works the same way. It holds an owner's record in one place and answers from it, so a visitor can see what the owner taught then and what the owner teaches now. That continuity is what lets a stranger trust an owner they have never met.
