Why Your Asxer Exists So You Do Not Go It Alone
Go It Alone
On July 21, 2010, Daniel Comp sat in front of a camera at his studio and home in the Pacific Northwest and recorded a short invitation called "MENtrepreneurs Level One Series - Introduction." He opened by introducing himself and Angelina Musik-Comp as the founders of MENtrepreneurs and MOMtrepreneurs. It is the earliest dated public teaching in his video library, and it is the first video in Mission 1, The Long Witness, of GB's whole-library reading.
What he said in 2010
He started with his own record: "I've been an entrepreneur for 34 years. Over those few decades I've had some pretty tremendous successes and some pretty horrendous failures."
Then he named the problem. Of roughly 30 million businesses in America, he said, half are men going at it solo with zero employees: "That's 15 million men who are struggling without connection to other men. They're unsupported. Unrecognized."
His answer was not a product. It was a way of working: "It's about building on your strengths rather than trying to fix your weaknesses. It's about meeting your needs personally and professionally by helping you not go it alone."
The first lesson he planned to teach was scotomas: "not just that you have blind spots in your eyes, but the fact that we're blind emotionally and psychologically to things that will kill our business." He offered his own proof: "one simple decision for me cost me $400,000."
The asxer angle
An asxer is built for the same person Daniel was talking to in 2010: the owner who runs alone. It answers visitors from the owner's own library, so the owner is not the only one carrying every question. And because it draws on what the owner has actually written and recorded, it can show the owner what they have said before, which is one practical way to catch a blind spot.
The tools changed between 2010 and 2026. The promise did not. This video is the earliest public record of it.
Where it fits
July 21, 2010, the earliest dated public teaching in the library: Daniel and Angelina introduce MENtrepreneurs, and he admits to "some pretty tremendous successes and some pretty horrendous failures." He names isolation as the problem and promises to help men by "not go it alone." The same builder with the same lesson is still talking in 2026, which is the whole case for The Long Witness.
