"SCOTOMAVILLE - 01.01 Scotomas" and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots

and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots

On 2020-04-02, Daniel Comp published "SCOTOMAVILLE - 01.01 Scotomas" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 2, Scotomas: Seeing What You Haven't Seen, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.

What the video shows

The April 2020 opener of the series: Daniel explains why he wrote, calls the climb to self-awareness "The hardest and the most rewarding" of his life, and walks viewers through the 3x5 card blind-spot test. He warns against carrying junk up a personal Everest. Paired with its 2022 REFLECTION, this is the Scotomas anchor: a man filming himself and later re-watching to find what he missed, a practice anyone can copy.

The hardest and the most rewarding was that personal Everest, that expedition to self-awareness.

The asxer angle

An asxer gives an owner the same practice in a new form. Because it answers from what the owner has actually written and recorded, the owner can ask it what they have said before and notice what they keep missing. Re-watching yourself is still the method; the asxer just makes the archive easy to search.

In the books: Trilogy 01.01.
