"SCOTOMAVILLE 01.03 - Sleeves Illusion" and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots
and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots
On 2020-03-15, Daniel Comp published "SCOTOMAVILLE 01.03 - Sleeves Illusion" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 2, Scotomas: Seeing What You Haven't Seen, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.
What the video shows
At Lake Pleasant in March 2020, Daniel shows that four cup sizes seem to use only two sleeves and explains how our eyes jump to conclusions through story. He notes that storytelling "actually has command over at least early AI." It is the blind-spot lesson pointed at both people and machines.
It actually has command over at least early AI.

The asxer angle
An asxer gives an owner the same practice in a new form. Because it answers from what the owner has actually written and recorded, the owner can ask it what they have said before and notice what they keep missing. Re-watching yourself is still the method; the asxer just makes the archive easy to search.
In the books: Trilogy 01.03.
