What Daniel Comp's 2022 Video Teaches Asxer Owners About Meaning Beyond the Job
About Meaning Beyond the Job
On 2022-09-10, Daniel Comp published "SCOTOMAVILLE 01.12 - IT Needs Work REFLECTION" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 4, Meaning Beyond the Job, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.
What the video shows
Daniel watches his earlier self while updating the book and sees that he has matured, even through eight failed property offers and seven project pivots. "it's not the things that you gain that make the difference." That is the meaning-beyond-gain thread in his own words.
the reflection of this episode is that it’s not the things that you gain that make the difference.
You see, part of that community… again the reflection of this episode is that it’s not the things that you gain that make the difference.
From the YouTube description: Doing the hard thing means taking action when you do not feel like it, especially when you are emotionally charged. (full description on YouTube)
In the books: Trilogy 01.12, Prime 073.
