What Daniel Comp's 2020 Triangulation Episode Teaches Asxer Owners About Meaning Beyond the Job
Owners About Meaning Beyond the Job
On 2020-04-26, Daniel Comp published "SCOTOMAVILLE 01.14 - Triangulation" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 4, Meaning Beyond the Job, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.
What the video shows
Filmed during the 2020 lockdown, after he and Angelina gave up their new Airstream deposit to make payroll, Daniel borrows a navigator's tool: "three points of reference for triangulation are basic for confidence in your location." Hope, faith and fact become his three bearings, and he uses them on the hardest one he has, the labels he was raised under.
The reason is I'm called 'illegitimate.' I'm 'unwanted.'
Where it fits
Daniel teaches triangulation with hope, faith and fact as bearings, and discloses the old labels: "I'm called 'illegitimate.' I'm 'unwanted.'" He asks who you know that became self-aware from horrible beginnings. His answer is his own life, which is what this mission offers.
In the books: Trilogy 01.14, Prime 211.
