"SCOTOMAVILLE 02.04 - Patience" and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots

and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Blind Spots

On 2020-10-09, Daniel Comp published "SCOTOMAVILLE 02.04 - Patience" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 2, Scotomas: Seeing What You Haven't Seen, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.

What the video shows

As foiling season ends, Daniel admits "for the first time in my life I know what depression is—for at least for a week." He notes this is the most-watched of the 85 videos so far. That candor is the scotoma method practiced on himself.

In the midst of all that our scotomas—our blind spots—can be discovered.

The purpose of my channel is to provide onus probandi—actual evidence of a Personal Everest so that you, like the geese that fly in a chevron, might be able to repeat it so that you can see it and mimic it and follow and do the same.

From the YouTube description: Waiting for outcomes like the passing of a season can be tough. (full description on YouTube)

The asxer angle

An asxer gives an owner the same practice in a new form. Because it answers from what the owner has actually written and recorded, the owner can ask it what they have said before and notice what they keep missing. Re-watching yourself is still the method; the asxer just makes the archive easy to search.

In the books: Trilogy 02.04.
