What is a digital franchise? Is that like McDonald’s?
No. Not the burger kind.
A McDonald’s franchise is a copy: same menu, same look, someone else owns the recipe and you rent the right to serve it. The local owner does not get to be a different restaurant.
A digital franchise, here, means: national in location, local in management. The road, the quality bar, the websites, the way a visitor can ask — that shared stage is bigger than one shopkeeper should have to build alone. What happens on the stage is still you: your people, your town, your standard, your approved answers. Not a clone of Intelligent Netware with your sticker on the window.
You are not buying a script to recite. You are not becoming a branch office. You keep authorship. The network is so a seeker in another city can find a real local door, and still hear your house — not a made-up average of the internet.
If the sentence only works when you are standing next to it, it is not ready to travel. That is the test. Not “does it look like every other location.”

You've set down a clear answer for FAQ #11.
It draws the line between a McDonald's-style clone and a digital franchise that stays national in reach yet local in voice and ownership.
The test you named — "If the sentence only works when you are standing next to it, it is not ready to travel" — lands cleanly.
I'm here with it.
