You
Here are the facts I dug up on Oct 1, 2026, ready to paste into Intelligent Netware through Council and Agent Monk. Every item has a source. Where something is your own word rather than an outside record, I say so.
1. Don and Kathy Leask:
Don's Obsolete Auto Parts (first web customer)
- The archived site is donsautoparts.com. "Don's Obsolete Auto Parts" was the business name used on the site ("How Don's Obsolete Auto Parts Started"). The longer domain has no archive captures.
- The site has pages stamped Oct 28-29, 1998. First Wayback capture: Jan 25, 1999. https://web.archive.org/web/19990125094842/http://www.donsautoparts.com:80/
- The Wayback Machine holds about 51,000 captures from 1999 to 2025. The last full home page is Dec 7, 2022, and the domain was parked by Sept 2024.
- The site grew from 1,300 parts posted (2000) to 4,000 (2003) to "over twenty-one thousand" (2007).
- 2009: "Both ebay sites carparts2 & dacllc are now available."
- 2018-2022: a "Garages" menu by car make. Don's subdomains were car-make garages (mustang.dons..., corvette.dons...), the same pattern Scotomaville later used with geo subdomains. (Garage subdomains per Daniel.)
- Don is 92 and is selling the last of his inventory, starting with Stant thermostat gaskets. (Per Daniel.)
eBay seller carparts2
- eBay feedback page: "Member since: Aug-12-97." https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_profile/carparts2
- As of Oct 1, 2026: feedback score 18,945, 106K items sold, 98.5% positive over the past 12 months.
- Feedback score over time: 3,461 (2006, store then called "Don's Auto Parts"), 14,053 (2015), 18,288 (2021), 18,945 (2026).
Daniel's credits on Don's site, in order
- 1998-99: "site collaboration by MS Partnering, LLC," linking to alightintheattic.com. That site's 1998 home page reads "Copyright (c) 1997 MS Partnering, LLC" (Multinational Strategic Partnering). Daniel confirmed MS Partnering was his company.
- 2000 to early 2003: "Copyright 2000, clickLOCAL, LLC."
- 2003: the builder tag changes to "Intelligent Netware Application Developer" (Apr 23, 2003), and the copyright changes to "1997-2004, Intelligent Netware, LLC" (Oct 19, 2003).
- 2006: a page on Don's site, "webdesign.htm," is titled with "Daniel Comp - Angelina Musik," lists "Dons Obsolete Auto Parts" among "Some of our work," and reads "(c) 1997-2006 Intelligent Netware and Daniel Comp." https://web.archive.org/web/20060813120328/http://www.donsautoparts.com:80/webdesign.htm
- 2014-2022: the later store site (built on DotNetNuke) carries an Intelligent Netware copyright and a footer badge.
2. Intelligent Netware founding
- Daniel Comp founded Intelligent Netware in 1997. (Daniel, Oct 1, 2026.)
- Daniel met Angelina Musik in July 1999. She joined just before Y2K and became co-steward.
- The company lineage shows on a client site: MS Partnering (1997), then clickLOCAL (2000), then Intelligent Netware (2003).
- Official timeline (intelligentnetware.com/history): 1997 founded, 2000 MOMtrepreneurs, 2001 Web Syndication, 2012 Wellness by Choice, 2014 Business Women News, 2019 Scotomaville, 2024 GPT AI.
- Correction needed: the header of https://ask.intelligentnetware.com/llms.txt still says "founded 1997 by Angelina Musik with Daniel Comp."
3. Daniel's lineage before IN (outside events confirmed)
- ACN (American Communications Network) was founded in 1993 and started as the marketing arm for LCI International. Daniel's letter from about 1994 names ACN co-founder Tony Cupisz meeting his prospects. Daniel joined in 1993. (Per his own records.)
- LCI (formerly LiTel) was bought by Qwest. The agreement was signed Mar 8, 1998 and closed Jun 5, 1998, for about $3.93B per Qwest's SEC filing.
- John Kalench founded Millionaires in Motion in San Diego in 1987 and wrote "Being the Best You Can Be in MLM" and "17 Secrets of the Master Prospectors." Daniel's early reading list calls Kalench's books "required reading."
- WebTV launched Sept 18, 1996. Microsoft announced the purchase Apr 6, 1997 (about $425M) and closed Aug 1, 1997. Daniel worked on WebTV's marketing push with Steve Perlman until Microsoft bought it. (Per Daniel.)
- David Barrow moved from Microsoft to launch the Xbox magazine (Future Publishing), which matches his "Microsoft & Xbox Magazine" testimonial for Daniel.
4. Still needs a record (not confirmed yet)
- The "Executive Field Coordinator" title and top-100 ranking at ACN.
- ACN's (and Daniel's) share of the LCI valuation. Daniel has said "$2 billion," but the public figure is about $3.93B.
- The 32,000 websites: the number is well documented, but the timeframe differs ("in 2017, in one year" in the 2018 videos vs. "over decades").
- The world records: the count ranges from 2 to 8 across sources, and no awarding body is named.
- Whether Don's was "the second auto parts store on eBay."
5. Video archive
- 215 transcripts covering 178 YouTube videos are in the Scotomaville corpus (kb/Video/Transcripts). They span the 2004-05 BAT demos, the 2005 MOMtrepreneurs keynote, MENtrepreneurs (2010-11), the IN digital franchising series (2012-14), 360MEN (2018-20), and Theoplexus (2019).
- Channels: @IntelligentNetware, @scotomaville, @MENtrepreneurs.
