# Your Work, Easier to Ask About

![Two men talking in a shop](/a/media/asker-meet-your-asker-illustration.jpg)

You have probably answered the same question more than once. Perhaps a customer wants to know how you work, a reader wants to understand a story, or a new member wants to find their place in a small organization. The answer may already be in your notes, photographs, website or experience. It is simply hard for the next person to find.

An Asker is a conversational website built around knowledge you approve. Visitors can ask about your work in ordinary words. It uses SI—Super Intelligence—to help explain that knowledge. People can follow source links, explore stories and pictures, and reach the human team when their question needs more than the available material.

## Begin with something familiar

Imagine a small repair shop whose customers often ask, “What should I bring when I visit?” The owner already has a useful answer. An Asker can help make that answer available to the next visitor, alongside the shop's photographs and explanation of its work. That is a hypothetical example, not a report of a customer's results.

The same idea can serve quite different work. A maker might explain how to care for a piece. A writer might introduce a collection and help readers find a starting point. A small nonprofit might make volunteer information easier to understand.

You do not need every possible feature. Start with one useful question and something you already have that answers it.

## You bring the knowledge. We help prepare it.

Your part is the idea, your experience, guidance and judgment. Our role is to help with preparation and setup when the work is a good fit. You review what will represent you, choose what may be shared and keep the responsibility for your promises and offers. A correction remains something you can ask for.

Daniel Comp, co-founder and steward, described the relief of bringing his idea and guidance while SI did real work he once associated with weeks or months of website building. That is his experience, not a promised delivery time for everyone.

## Choose the kind of place you need

You might want an open welcome, or a room for invited people. You might need only helpful answers and stories. Pictures, video, selling, a reflective game or a guided record of your work can be useful additions where they serve your purpose.

The aim is not to make you learn a new vocabulary. It is to make your knowledge easier for the right person to use.
