# "360MEN CRAPPIE Texas Ribs" and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Staying the Course

On 2018-05-06, Daniel Comp published "360MEN CRAPPIE Texas Ribs" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 1, The Long Witness, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.

## What the video shows

Sore ribs, rain and Airstream chores make an unvarnished day, and Daniel still points out how beautiful the weather is after a miserable one. He admits that kind of perspective is hard when you're young. The long-suffering record includes the mundane, which is why it is believable.

> Oh my god don't — don't twist.

> This is two days after that sweaty day in Corpus Christi Lake.

From the YouTube description: Daniel Comp gets his pay-back from a fun day of windsurfing with a full day of Texas Rain and bruised ribs. ([full description on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Lc0E8l7Js))

## The asxer angle

An asxer works the same way. It holds an owner's record in one place and answers from it, so a visitor can see what the owner taught then and what the owner teaches now. That continuity is what lets a stranger trust an owner they have never met.
