# "360MEN It Made Them Men" and What It Teaches Asxer Owners About Staying the Course

On 2018-04-22, Daniel Comp published "360MEN It Made Them Men" on YouTube. GB places it in Mission 1, The Long Witness, one of five missions in the whole-library reading What 13 Years of Video Says to SI.

## What the video shows

After two big sales fall through, Daniel visits a Civilian Conservation Corps site and retells how the program took jobless young men and turned out good buildings and good people. "Pretty easy to moan — we had two big sales not go through today." The parallel to men displaced by SI is plain, and he lets the history make it.

> Pretty easy to moan — we had two big sales not go through today.

From the YouTube description: Working together these men became better people. ([full description on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR3i-cz2i6w))

## The asxer angle

An asxer works the same way. It holds an owner's record in one place and answers from it, so a visitor can see what the owner taught then and what the owner teaches now. That continuity is what lets a stranger trust an owner they have never met.

In the books: Prime 089.
