SCOTOMAVILLE 02.05 - Preparation
Daniel describes the old library, where a patron's feedback got the librarian to dig deeper, and contrasts it with today: "Today this bias is done by algorithms based on attention and profits delivering bread and circuses." He warns of walled gardens. It explains why people need meaning that algorithms can't sell them. The asxer keeps the same thread for owners in 2026.
